Final

The welcoming

A long dark hallway appears in front of me
The floor is creaking and there's a door I see
The white silhouette of the edges so plain
For my eyes haven't adjusted, so my vision is strained
A voice calls out, so faint to hear
That if you drew another breath, the sound will disappear
With my body frozen, my wits not quick
The hallway is getting longer, is my mind playing tricks?
A push from behind, so gentle yet with a force
A girl, little older than I, was the source
Pretty to look at, but not so pleasant to listen
For an unknown reason, she seems to be set on a mission
To make me feel terrible, to browbeat me
Mock me on my social class, my worth as a human being
To make me cry, receive satisfaction from my tears
And when I fail to hold back my tears, She'll always have a look of a sneer
Closer and closer we get to the door
The closer we get to the door, harder the voice is to ignore
The handle comes into reach
I twist, and the door opens with a screech
Inside the room, time seems to be frozen
But that seemed to not have stop the corrosion
Desks and tables were covered in dust
The decay of wood filled the room with musk
The clocks sits still, 20 minutes to nine
Life has not moved, preserved, like a  scene of a crime
And there she was, wearing a yellow stained dress
She seem to not care about the room being a mess
So I stood there pondering why
Someone could live like this, and not let a bad memory die?

Shakespearean Sonnet

The shadows of reality, is our own sight
Betrays us and keeps us imprisoned in our minds
We are bound by chains but yet we refuse to fight
For we resist to look for the truth in the signs

The cave so dark, yet it is our only haven
For we are blind for not seeing past the shadows
To individualism, we have forsaken
For we are not different from herds of cattle

We are destined for greatness, to learn on our own
We could not be limited to ones own beliefs
Free to choose what skills we see important to hone
We could live our lives and breath a sigh of relief

Yet we are manipulated by the elite
So never can our quest for knowledge be complete

Poetry #2

An inch
To some, it's not much
But to me, it's everything
It determines the difference between defeat or victory
Success or failure
For me, an inch is a sin
Giving an inch shows weakness of the heart
The pain of giving in to the oppressor lasts forever
There are times where strength is not on your side
But inside is where true strength lies
Moral battles always erupt inside
Weakness, submission, devastation
Determination, the drive to always prevail
Give an inch, sacrifice a mile
Take a mile, receive an inch
Never give up, never stop fighting
Be relentless
You are the victor
You are a fighter

Driving me (part 1)

Driving ME

The morning was cold and dark. The street lights were on but flickered. The fog came in the night and made visibility as low as 2 feet. Dan awoke to the sound of a telephone ringing in another room in his home. Looking up at the clock, he notices it was five a.m. “Great, four hours of sleep.” Dan said struggling to keep

Poetry #1

One half of a story

Two face
Means two things
You are either a backstabbing low life
Or you hide a secret side of you
A side you wish to keep caged
A side that begs to be released
A side you are starting to loose control of
Every day it wants to be free
The doors of the cage becoming looser with each push
A demon inside
A monster inside
Everyone has two sides
Some can control it
Others can't
As bright as day
As dark as night
No one is a perfect angel
I fight the monster inside

The man commands him to do his bidding and forces him to bring him the woman he secretly loves to be sacrifice to reincarnate the evils man departed loved one. Even after freeing his loved one, he is blamed for the kidnapping and was barrage bullets by the woman's husband seriously injuring Jamie. Which is the reason for later taking his beloved ability.

The gains brought by the exile of a only friend and being under the influence of a man who he would later respect. Jamie has been an orphan traveling with a mentor robbing, smuggling, etc. He was consider a bastard by many. But eventually as the time being the slave of the man. Jamie became the slave to the friend of him forming a closer bond between him becoming like a butler to the man future family, Jamie experience luxury with him throughout the years. By the end Jamie died with something he would never had if he never went to the Hawkes Harbor and stick with his friend, Jamie would never have a family or prob;y a roof over his head.

The disruption in ones life may cause damage or generate new opportunities. Jamie went through hell before the gates were open to him. But in the end he died with no regrets still seeing him once capture as a respectful master, like a  butler to a man. Building a friendship with all connected to him. The path for Jamie was both covered with shadows and holes but in the end. The exile or change to his life made him a better man and made him someone who would be missed when he left.

never know what lurks under the surface
